In 2009 Heavenly Gardens began designing children’s play areas for Bristol’s Green Play Project who design and build natural play areas in schools and parks. Both our designers are mothers and are excited to design play areas for children. Eco friendly elements, materials and building methods are incorporated to help children engage with the natural world. Our first design for Holy Family Catholic Primary School is currently been built; featuring a hobbit hole, amphitheatre, stone circle with fire pit, wild flower meadow, bird watching tower and outdoor clay pizza oven. Two more designs for Bristol primary schools are currently on the drawing board.
